Crunchy chicken fried chicken (unlike regular fried chicken, it is boneless and pounded flat), chicken fried steak, creamy mashed potatoes, crispy fried okra... you can't go wrong. Don't forget the appetizers. Some of the best onion rings around. Crunchy fried pickles. Mac and cheese bites for that guilty pleasure. There is always an assortment of fried pies for dessert along with various specials. They also have homemade brownies to go by the cash register, unless I beat you to them. The service is always friendly, like that hometown dinner you wished you grew up in. ”
